AL West Betting Prediction 2025
Based on the latest MLB odds, my AL West betting prediction is on the Rangers to win the division (+225) for the first time since 2016.
There are some signs that the Astros’ reign in the AL West might be coming to an end. They let Alex Bregman walk in free agency and traded away Kyle Tucker before he became too expensive next offseason.
Most projections expect Houston to take a step back, opening the door for multiple teams in the division. Clay Davenport’s projections favor the Mariners, but PECOTA and FanGraphs give the edge to the Rangers.
I prefer the Rangers, who have flashed more upside after winning the 2023 World Series. They followed their championship up with a 78-84 campaign, but they appear poised to bounce back with better health and their young players taking the next step.
Give me this +225 price tag on the Rangers to win the division.
