  • Last year, the Braves didnโ€™t win the NL East for the first time since 2017.
  • I predict Atlanta will return to the top of the division in 2025.

Nothing went right for the Atlanta Braves during their injury-riddled 2024 campaign, but they still won 89 games and made the playoffs.

Will the Braves bounce back and remind everyone they are one of the top contenders in the sport?

Hereโ€™s a look at the latest MLB futures odds and my betting prediction for the Braves ahead of the 2025 season:

Braves MLB Odds 2025

Win Total: 93.5
NL East: +140
NL Pennant: +500
World Series: +950

The Bravesโ€™ MLB odds odds have dropped compared to last year. Their win total is 93.5 after finishing well below the 101.5 mark last season. They are +140 to win the NL East after being -275 to claim the division title in 2024.

Here’s a look at Atlanta’s preseason odds in recent years:

Braves Depth Chart 2025

According to RosterResource, the Braves have a depth chart capable of bouncing back in 2025.

They signed Jurickson Profar to a three-year, $42 million deal to form one of the best outfield units in the league.

Braves Player to Watch in 2025

Outfielder Ronald Acuรฑa Jr. wonโ€™t be ready by opening day after suffering an ACL tear last year, but the 2023 NL MVP is making his way back to the Braves.

Acuรฑa played just 49 games last season, hitting .250 with four home runs and 15 RBIs. He hit 41 homers and stole 73 bases during his MVP campaign.

Iโ€™d be surprised if Acuรฑa is close to the player he was two seasons ago, following a second ACL tear in his career. When he returns to the diamond, it will be worth monitoring his play. The 2025 season might depend on what version of Acuรฑa the Braves get.

Braves 2025 Betting Prediction

Based on the updated MLB betting market, I predict the Braves will win the NL East (+140) during the 2025 season.

Itโ€™s difficult to pass up a plus-money price on the Braves to win the division, especially when they were -275 in this market last season. This +140 price tag marks their best preseason value since 2020.

Bravesโ€™ preseason division odds:

  • 2024: -275
  • 2023: +100
  • 2022: +120
  • 2021: +130
  • 2020: +200

Atlantaโ€™s runner-up finish in the NL East in 2024 snapped a six-year streak of winning the division. Iโ€™d bank on the Braves returning to the top this season.

Prediction: Braves to win NL East (+140)
